Saves the resource contents persistently with the specified byte based output stream.

Parameters:

ostream - Byte based output stream with a certain encoding

format - The format the data is stored (FORMAT_UNCOMPRESSED|...)

Throws:

java.io.IOException - An I/O error occurred
