Leisenfels founder Dipl.-Inform. Axel Schwolow (born in 1972) has worked successfully in the field of software development for over 20 years.
He holds a degree in Computer Science and Biology from the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, Germany. He finished his studies with the diploma thesis "Programmanalysen mittels Software-Metriken" at Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg, Germany. This paper describes the design and implementation of a Java software to analyze computer programs and measure program quality to some extend.
He started his career as a research associate at
. At this time he developed Oracle-based information systems for the cancer registry of Lower-Saxony as well as a semi-automated process of data integration based on scanner technology (OCR) and value extraction with regular expressions. This innovative solution helped to increase the registration rate to over 90%.In the years between 2006 and 2014 Axel worked as project manager and software developer at Potthoff + Partner Unternehmensberatungs-Gesellschaft Gesundheitswesen mbH in Lienen, Northrhine-Westphalia. His focus here was the development of the large Java-based, IBM DB2-driven KURVAS©/One Step application used by rehabilitation clinics from all over Germany.
In 2012, 2013, and 2014 he updated business knowledge and completed the EBC*L (European Business Competence License) levels A/B/C each with test and certificate (EBC*L Certified Manager).
Since 2014, Axel supported well-known customers like OBI, Bayer, TUI, VTG, and Körber Pharma Software as a freelancer.
